  • Last time I was in Montreal, I Visited La Distillerie. The atmosphere is really hip and chill inside. The only downside is that theres not too much space. The drinks were great, and came in both a regular and a "massive" size. Average price is around $9.50 for regular sized cocktails and around $17 for the massive sized cocktails which are pretty big...Very well made and tasty drinks! They also have bowls of snacks like goldfish and popcorn for around $2-5. Today, I wanted to visit them again for some cocktails. Because of the wait, we were stuck outside for a little while. It was very cold outside and we were clearly freezing. The doorman was super nice though and he brought everybody in line (only 5 or 6 people) a hot tea/cider drink which was whipped up by one of the bartenders. I think it was apple-cinnamon flavoured, but it was really good! It was such a thoughtful gesture, the epitome of excellent customer service. Unfortunately, we could not wait any longer to go in and so we left. I'll remember the kind treatment of your potential customers!
