I often visit this cafe when I'm around Coventry for another reason, but I don't go out of my way when I could visit one of the other Phoenix stores instead.
There are a lot of positives about this place: they serve best coffee in Cleveland, the baristas are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxing, and there is free wifi. I've never seen this store when it hasn't been busy. It's the only coffee shop (that I'm aware of) that's open until midnight during the week, so there are plenty of med-students, law-students, etc. burning the midnight oil in here.
The reason I give this cafe 4 stars instead of 5 is because there's something about the interior design that has always gotten on my nerves. In fairness, Phoenix inherited many of the problems from Caribou, but something about it just feels awkward. They share a door with the bar upstairs, so during the winter you can feel cold bursts of air if you're at one of the tables near the door. If the only open seats are near the door I have to ask for a foam cup instead of a ceramic mug because I hate chugging lukewarm coffee as it's getting cold.
