  • I went in looking for a tablet for my 6 year old. The store didn't have very many customers but they seemed to have every employee working at the same time. Unfortunately, even though there seemed to be 4 employees for every 1 customer, no one asked if I needed help. Having found the tablets by myself, they appear to be all turned off, so I can't check out any features. The one's I can turn on aren't connected to wifi. Finally, I stop someone and ask him for help. He states 1) They don't turn on the tablets because they don't care about them, 2) If he connects any tablet to wifi it could mess it up and he would get in trouble and 3) he can't help because they are understaffed. I'm sorry but I ripped into this kid. I pointed out the 8 people working that section ALONE and stated how no one could manage to even ask if I needed help. He replies "We're all helping someone." I point to the one other customer and say "What?! You're all helping that old guy??" Then he goes "Well, we're slow now but you should have seen us 3-4 months ago." I tell him I don't care about 3-4 months ago because it's today and today I need help choosing a tablet. He begins to ramble BS about price and I tell him to just leave. He clearly doesn't know anything. Needless to say, we went to Best Buy that is practically next door where we found tablets that were TURNED ON and friendly and professional customer service. I grew up in this neighborhood and remember this place being amazing. Now it feels like a waste of space being run by people who are just trying to pass the time.
