I was with my parents and my aunt and we were looking for somewhere in Indian Trail to eat for some reason every restaurant we went to were closed and then we came across The Friendly Moose and I'm really glad we did. Looking at it from the outside it just looks like an old house which I'm pretty sure it is however, once you get inside you will quickly notice that it is a moose inspired decorated restaurant. I am a foodie, so I have seen poutine before on TV but have never tried it so I was really excited to see it on a menu here in North Carolina as I know it is mostly in the northern states. and it did not disappoint, it was absolutely delicious the gravy was homemade the fries were crispy and the cheese just made the whole dish I also am an avid pot sticker fan, so I was super excited to see if they also had those on on the menu I ordered the pot stickers and a chef salad for my entree and my aunt ordered the fish and chips and both of my parents ordered a burger. The portions were huge and we were all more than satisfied the food was also delicious and you could tell it was prepared with care, nothing tasted frozen or like it came from a can it all tasted fresh prepared hot and delicious. This will definitely be one of our new go-to spots in the Indian Trail area I cannot wait to try it again as soon as possible. By the way, none of the actual burgers with the name moose in them are prepared with moose it's all ground beef.
