| - When my husband & I first moved to Arizona a year ago, I went on Yelp and read reviews about churches to help decide which ones to check out. While I LOVE Yelp in general, I kind of wish I hadn't done this. I read one of the below negative reviews on this church, and decided to check out others instead. For the last year, my husband and I have been pretty stagnant in our walk with Christ. Going through the motions, but not growing and engaging with God as we were before we moved. Now that's on us, not on any particular church. But when we moved closer to the Grove, I decided that maybe checking out a new church would relight that fire in our hearts. And you guys, I THANK GOD for giving me that desire. Because I truly believe it was straight from Him!
Since attending the Grove, we have felt SO refreshed and revitalized in our faith. For the first time here in Arizona, we feel we've found a church that feels like home. We feel we've found a church family that will challenge us to always seek after Christ, and live for Him and for His glory. We leave on Sunday feeling moved by the presence of the Holy Spirit. We feel strengthened in our marriage, and in our personal walks with Christ. We are just so dang thankful!
Anyone doing what I was and reading reviews looking for your new home church, I so encourage you to just check them out for yourself! I wish I had done that a year ago. Church is such a personal thing, and what fits one person may not be the perfect fit for another. God bless you all!
