I tried their butter coffee at The Ex, and it was an experience I'll never be able to undo.
First, $6 for a small cup of coffee? I could time-share a cow for the cream and pay less than that. Even with the huge markup on food at The Ex, $6 is outrageously expensive.
I'd still happily pay $6 for a cup of coffee if it was like a party in mouth and everyone was invited, but this butter coffee was more like a party where nobody showed up and you still got busted by the cops. It only took a few minutes for the fat to separate from the coffee and stick to the sides of the cup, and it tasted like liquid lard.
For days after, I couldn't drink coffee with cream in it, and my stomach still turns at the thought of it. I prefer to say I don't care for something I dislike, but there's no other way to put it: this coffee is disgusting.
