While I absolutely love the look of my backyard (other than the lighting...which I'll get to), I had no idea I was signing up for such an incredibly frustrating process. I signed the papers for my pool at the beginning of February. I wasn't in the water until late July / early August. If you factor in lighting, they technically never finished the job.
The sales process was fairly painless. The price was higher than I expected, but I knew the end product would be beautiful. And it is.
By early May, they hadn't even dug a hole in my backyard. A hole! All they had done in 3 months was pull out my old landscaping & 16+ lights. I called incessantly. I begged. I threatened. They finally started digging on May 13th.
From start to finish, there were workers at my house only 30% of the time. Very disappointing. They then told me that they couldn't put my lights back in until my inspection was complete. The inspection passed. Weeks went by. Still no lights. I called twice. They finally sent someone out. Of the 16+ lights I originally had in my yard, they installed 4. Yes 4. The rest were left laying in a pile on my patio. And of the 4 they installed, only 2 worked. I called again. They insulted me & said that maybe the light bulbs were burnt out, which obviously DIDN'T explain why the other 12 lights hadn't been installed. I gave up at that point & just wrote them off. I'm hiring another landscaper to come redo all the lighting work I had paid for them to do originally.
I gave them 3 stars because my back yard is gorgeous. When the sun is out. If it wasn't for that, I'd have given them 1 or 2 stars.
