  • Totally drove by this little shop without noticing it ever. I first heard of J'adore Cakes when a group on came out or a wag jag deal, I only took note because this bakery they were promoting was in my area, the owner is a graduate of the prestigious and esteemed school, le cordon bleu. sadly i never bought the deal voucher, but always wondered where and what the place was about until finally my sister who is also a baker and I stopped in. I'm so pleased with this petit bakery! as the other poster said, you'd never expect this place to be plopped down in between automotive parts stores, and for rent signs.. it's windows have a lacey dressing, with pretty wallpaper and welcoming colors. The treats are exquisite, dynamic and flavour-full! I am actually working on counting calories, but my gawd, I am a sucker for french macaroons! They were so worth the extra calories. The shop person is helpful and not frou-frou, the prices are reasonable and it's just a real treat to have this near my community.
