| - Having been here several years earlier and hearing what the menu items were, I was excited. Especially after the below par food at Heinz Field. Yet, I left a bit dissatisfied again.
The ballpark is gorgeous. We stood outside while a huge block party was going on outside with a live band. Beautiful statues and sights, and we weren't even inside yet.
There aren't bad views here. We had seats in the first level, foul grounds, third base side. Tremendous scenes. This might be the best ball park on design, seating, fan friendliness, but once again I didn't love the food.
I kept hearing how the food is sooo good at PNC. I was asking people where to go to get something unique and authentic. I guess you have to be in the box seats behind home plate or in the suites, because we walked around and didn't see anything mind blowing. Though I did get something unique and new. A pulled pork sandwich with pirogies on it. Neither one of the two were that great, ball park quality, but it was different and filled me up.
The only real knock was the damn wave! Haven't people realized the wave should be abolished in all ballparks! It's the worst.
Fun times, great stadium, wish I knew where all the awesome food was.
