  • My boyfriend had a fashion emergency: he needed something to wear to a high profile media event where he was going to be interacting with a lot of important industry figures. Uh, yeah and like any typical guy, he waited until the last minute. We'd stopped by Macy's and found nothing suitable (no pun intended). Banana Republic has been shutting down stores so we had to drive out of our way to get here and the selection was small, but what they lacked in stock, they made up in customer service. Not only did he find a gorgeous suit that fit without needing alteration, we got expert fashion advice from Greg who brought together a spectacular color palette with the shirt, tie and suggested shoe color, completing the ensemble so my boyfriend would look Hollywood-ready. Best part of all, with the weekend sales promotion and an extra 10% off from being a BR card holder, he walked out with a complete suit (jacket, pants, shirt, tie) for less than just the jacket tag price -- this for a 100% Italian wool suit. This was just phenomenal. Thanks Greg for backing me up and helping him pick the right suit.
