I finally got around to trying this place but it wasn't really worth the hype. We ordered 2 types of wooffles: Lap Cheong & Seaweed and Sesame w/ sesame ice-cream.
L&S- The sweetness of the waffle went well w/ the savoriness of the lap cheong; but b/c the waffle is more dense, it felt like a lap cheong flavored focaccia. As for the exterior, it was semi-crispy and a bit oily.
S&S- The sesame one paired well w/ the ice-cream, which had a creamy texture but a weak flavor. They do give you a generous amount though so it's best to share it.
Overall, I wouldn't mind eating here again but I wouldn't go out of my way/ line up for it.
