We went today in the scorching heat. The zoo was a decent size and had a lot of interesting desert animals such as kissing cousins , an orangutan and Komodo dragons you normally don't see at a zoo. Admission was $20 which we thought was pretty high since this zoo isn't that big. We did enjoy the giraffes and monkeys. Definetly bring a bottle of water with you as others have suggested. The safari train is $5 unless you already paid for it at admissions. We didn't take it since the zoo isn't that big and we decided it was faster to walk than wait for the train.
