This was my second AIR class but my first time at the Southpark location. The new location is in the shopping center where Firbirds and Barnes and Nobles is located. So there is a fair amount of parking and the studio is a good size with a more windows than the Myers Park location. I thought this was a good feature but I tend to sit in the back of the class and with the windows behind me it got really hot quickly.
With this being my second AIR foundation class I thought I was prepared but this class was different than my first. It was tough!! lol I am still sore 2 days later. I think I came to class expecting to do a lot of hanging around in the silks but the instructor enforced a lot of squats, lunges and burpees. I need all of those intense exercises but I just really wanted to hang upside down. The last 5 minutes we were able to hang in the silks to do reverse crunches. I really enjoyed the class because it was a challenge and I felt like I really worked every part of my body. I think this would be a great class if you want to tone quickly and in a more fun and creative way.
The only suggestion I have is if the studio could be swifered after every class or a few times a day. I was in the first class of the day and was surprised to find so much hair and dust around me and on my feet and towel. BESIDES that I loved the class and new location! Go see Kerri and her team they are great!
