| - Soo below is a letter, receipt, and picture of the 18k coat that my Adopted Mom/Sis let me wear for a Birthday Lunch that we had at the RITZ CARLTON DOWNTOWN ~ClevelandOH on Monday 2/12/2018.
Everything was wonderful until the very end as we were first told to pay the bill or else. Followed by just leave the premises and forget the bill. Followed by Cleveland PD off-duty officers for Tower City, informing us to pay the bill, get the receipt and contact Customer Care regarding this ludicrous situation.
So all this over a $4 dollar overcharge for a $60 bottle of wine. Keep in mind. My adopted Mom/Sis had a stroke in 2000 that immobilized the right side of her body and relegated her speech to 5 simple sentences total. We play charades ALOT ok? . A voicemail was left for Yael Ron, General Manager and a followup email was sent to her and to Executive Chef Richard Soren Arnoldi.
Yael did return my call the next day to state the waiter was CORRECT in not leaving the bottle of wine on the table since I am pregnant. A fact that two bartenders and another manager had already stated was erroneous. The bottle was solely for my Mom/Sis. She ordered no food. It is not illegal for a pregnant women to drink wine, just not recommended. So.. therein lies the problem. 'Discrimination' that Ms. Yael Ron tried to tell me was at the discretion of the waiter.
You read the account and then tell me if you feel the outrage that we did bubbling up at this turn of events!

'Richard,
I've included you on this email because you were an integral part of the phenomenal experience that my mom received yesterday for her birthday. Everyone and every nuance of the afternoon was perfect until the very end as we were told to leave the premises over a $4 dispute on the final bill.
I left Yael a detailed vm and I'm also sending a copy of the receipt/bill. The original bill was $131.00 because they charged my Mom $16/glass for her Armond Riesling instead of $60 for the bottle that I requested our server Jimmy to leave at the table. He declined to leave the bottle because I am pregnant, however the bottle was not for me. I had tea and water. And to my knowledge he can't deny me the bottle. It's not illegal to drink wine. It's not recommended but it's not illegal.
So I'll let you guys figure this 'discrimination' issue out.
I appreciate everything you guys did to make my Mom feel like a Queen. I just wish we hadn't been thrown out like paupers.
Thank you,
