| - Our son was deployed overseas with the U.S. army Infantry after graduation at Ft Bennington, Ga. Yesterday. We expected him to get a weekend pass but plans changed and he left immediately after graduation. We Attempted to call Southwest for three days, starting before we even left from Phoenix but they had a "computer problem that jammed their system" which apparently kept them from returning calls, although their message assured us they would. We waited an hour to get through twice, precious time which should have been spent with our son, still no luck.
My husband just got through, explained the situation and asked if we could take an earlier flight. Apparently the earlier flight had room, but the supervisor, "Ledia 71"refused to make the accommodation without an up charge. She was uncaring, disengenuios, and frankly, rude.
Great support for military families Southwest! Glad our son is willing to sacrifice for folks like you who simply don't care. Shame on you.
