I had two pastries from the on-premises bakery. Both were fresh and delicious.
The self-serve system takes a bit of figuring out - take a tray from the shelf, put a paper on it, grab a set of tongs, and head over to the display cases. Place your items on the tray. Then go back to the counter and pay for your items right there in the bakery.
I chose a strawberry turnover and a pineapple-filled popover. Both were fresh, crusty golden brown, and tasty.
