  • I'm so very sad to have to leave a negative review but I haven't heard back from Jessica even though I've attempted several different contacts. She has closed her business down and that is understandable because she posted on the business wall that summer business has been too slow to maintain her party business, however, I was not made aware of this as a booked customer. I found out after the fact when trying to track her down as to why she never showed up for my daughter's Katy Perry themed party. I have all of our emails back and forth confirming the booking, I booked her 2 months before the event to ensure that she would be able to do it. She told me that she would be there between 2:30-4 as "Katy". She even sent images of the costume to be sure it was what I wanted. We were all set in my mind. I became slightly worried when I tried to email her the day before the party just confirming the time when she didn't respond but I thought maybe she was just busy. Day of the party: All the girls are super excited to meet Katy and have her paint their faces and nails. This was eleven 4-6 year old girls. At 2:30 I texted the phone number I had in the email to find out if she was on her way. I got no response. I attempted to call the number and got no answer. For an hour and a half I kept assuring the girls that she would be there. I ended up telling them that Katy was super busy and maybe her plane was late. They were very disappointed, especially my daughter. After the party was finished, I again attempted to contact her through email and looked at the email to find out her business name again. I then searched the web for her business page and saw the "CLOSED" notice on the main page. Of course I wish I had found this sooner because then I might have been able to book someone else. All Jessica had to do was drop me an email sometime between May and July and I could have easily booked someone else. I would have been understanding. I heard nothing from her and so far she has not responded to any of my emails. I too own a small business and I know that hard times happen but I would never leave a booked customer out to dry like that. All it would have taken was 1 email, even after the fact, apologizing and I would have been able to feel resolved over this.
