Huge NEGATIVE: Waiting line management. Get there early and prepare to wait. Too many with coupons, comp meals, etc. holding up the line as the cashiers can only let 15-20 of these people through before the line stops. So no one else can pay, enter, etc and just stand there. Once you pay (different line per pay method), you pull up to a circus of 5 lines and the host/ess pull people from each line as they see fit. While we waited to be seated, the line was so long that many paid $5 for express, immediate seating. That line went out the door. They do not seat as efficiently either as they normally sit 6-8 tables in a general area at the same time.
Ok, now to the food:
Prime rib - AWESOME! Cooked medium rare/rare like it should be cooked. If you want it cooked more, special request it. Beef ribs were good too. Very tender beef that the meat almost fell off the bone.
Taco bar was a good Mexican change that we had not seen at other buffets up to this point.
Pork tamale was ok at best. Just eat the pork as the flour/contents tasted like it had been overcooked and starting to go bad.
Crab legs were cold but were good quality and enjoyable.
DESSERT - Peach cobbler was a little too bread on top but otherwise it is very good. The gelato ice cream was just icing on the cake with the peach cobbler.
Except for the horrible wait, we had a pleasant visit. The servers were just as attentive as Caesars Palace as they constantly refilled drinks and brought utensils and condiments without customers requesting it.
