  • My first gay bar experience in Toronto, and I took my (girl) friend with me. Everybody was fine with her being there (I'm sensitive to that) and we both had a good time. We went on a Monday night, and the TV monitors were all showing music videos, and the DJ did a pretty awesome job of keeping everybody entertained. In that sense, this place (at least on that particular Monday night) reminds me of the same genre of bar as the Midnight Sun in San Francisco or a classic WEHO bar in LA. Other reviews prior to mine suggest a more risque atmosphere (i.e. porn rather than music videos!) on other nights of the week. Sexy, happy bartenders -- which ALWAYS add to the experience -- and strong drinks and lots and lots of room. Also a covered patio for the tobacco enthusiasts.
