Pretty nice lake right in the middle of the city. It's actually a bit larger than you may expect and has a nice sandy beach area. There are trails that follow alongside the lake.
They also offer boat rentals of: paddle boat, canoe, kayak and paddle board. My wife and I decided to do the paddle boat. If I could review the boat itself, it would be a '1'. We actually had a paddle boat when I was a kid and that was over two decades ago and it greatly outperformed this one. The one I rented today had very awkward and unresponsive steering. You literally have to turn it in the full direction you need the rudder to move in and that often meant the other rider having to lean out of the way. The worst part however is the paddling is way too hard. I last rented one somewhere else only a couple years ago with no issues (in case my larger adult size was obscuring my judgment). Today it felt as if we were paddling in mud and really having to sweat whilst barely moving. It was literally hopeless to consider going around the lake. The peddles are too short and it seems designed for people 5' and under. Even the lifeguard overseeing the boats said the paddle boats were high maintenance.
With the paddle boats out of the way, I would still say it's a nice place and hopefully the other boat rentals are good quality.
