First of all, before you come here expecting $20 type sushi dishes, you're getting what you pay for.
I love the sushi for the price. It's not bad at all! The most expensive dish you're going to get is the $3. Let me recommend the volcano roll. Best sushi available: it's cheap for its price, and has hot scallops stacked on top from the toaster oven! I get the forest roll as well because I love the cold seaweed on top of it.
I admit the service is slow, but the staff are young and friendly. They're always so sweet every time I go. I suggest you ORDER to the server what you want, and if you're lucky (they're not on the belt yet or don't get put out), you get fresh sushi straight from the chef that don't sit out.
Complimentary miso soup every time so ask for that as well!
I understand the many "below average" reviews but that's because people come to this place expecting expensive creme de la creme sushi when the most expensive is $3. There's pros and cons about this place. If you come here understanding it's not going to be the most tasty sushi you've ever had, it's good. It settles the craving for sushi.
