Old and tired. Staff was unfriendly at check in and appeared bothered to have to work. Room was atrocious, particularly the cracked floor tiles in the bathroom or the rust on the bottom of the bathroom door frame. The duct tape holding up each corner protector in the dank hallway was a particularly delightful feature. (Although they kindly removed them all at 9:45pm with a pronounced 'cr-ttch'. I know this because we were startled by the repeated noise and checked the key hole). I suspect this hotel is the 'winner' of many '4-star' bidding tools, so be sure to do your homework first. For the same price, buy two rooms at the nearby la Quinta and live like a king, then go to the winking lizard and buy a beer with the money you saved by not staying here.
