| - I went into Mattress Firm today looking for a twin mattress for my new bedroom, as I was downsizing from a full. I went in and Ricky helped me out. I always like to research everything, and I made sure I had the right questions and knew what I was looking for before I went in. Ricky was nothing short of amazing. I would ask him a question about the Best Value Mattresses in the back compared to any specific one on the floor. I was in the store for at least an hour, and really made sure I laid down and "tried" different beds to nail down what kind of mattress I would want. I was originally going to go to Costco in Centennial because they have a Firm Sealy Eloise Twin mattress for sale for $119.99, and I was really hesitant because the previous mattress we bought from Costco in 2012/13 was firm and a Posturepedic, and it wasn't what I was looking for this time.
I found that I really love Plush Memory foam mattresses, and the only one I loved the most was a floor model, and the manufacture only gives 1 per store for free. The Fort Apache and Tropicana store listed that it had the one I wanted in stock, but when Ricky called over, it wasn't in-stock unfortunately. He called his manager and explained how I absolutely needed and loved this mattress (it was just perfect), and would have it delivered and shipped to my house tomorrow morning (Friday, July 29). My mom was hesitant about me spending $400 for a mattress right now, but I was willing to today without hesitation. I told Ricky I would let him know my decision but thanked him immensely in case I did not purchase a mattress from there at this time. I didn't end up buying a mattress there today, BUT, when I am ready in the next several months to buy a new mattress, I am definitely without a doubt, going straight to this location, and ONLY to speak with Ricky about getting an awesome mattress.
He is so knowledgeable and really has amazing customer service, patience, and was never once frustrated or unhappy whenever I asked to try different mattresses during my decision process. He understood the process and was patient with me, as he was with himself buying a mattress because for me at least, buying the perfect mattress feels like buying the perfect car. You need patience, a great salesperson, the right time, the right car, and the right feeling.
I will be calling the store momentarily to let Ricky know I will not buy a mattress at this time, but to thank him for helping me and that I will be back again, requesting him. I wanted to write this review first so his managers or whoever looks at these, can see they have a star employee who is doing their company an amazing service and others like me. I am a teacher, and he made sure that whatever he could do for me that the company offered I had. He is fantastic. Ask for him :)
