  • Went to a Muse concert in early December 2015. Parking is extremely convenient and easy to find and get to. The streets outside the arena are very wide, and congestion is minimal (absolutely a million times better than anything in downtown Phoenix). Best of all, the arena has approximately twenty million women's restroom stalls. I can't begin to tell you how unbelievably nice it is to buy alcohol from a venue and not have to wait 40 minutes to pee afterwards. Seats weren't absurdly small like some places, or uncomfortable. You might get overflow if you have to sit next to someone who's really big, but that only happened to me because the dude next to me was 400+ lbs. The restaurants outside of the venue, all part of "Westgate," are super convenient watering holes and food stops if you get there early or need some grub after a show. The will-call staff was extremely competent. I called up two hours before the show all ready to be super pissed off because Ticketmaster was telling me I had bought two tickets instead of five, even though my credit card statement begged to differ. The venue staff told me that they had the three tickets Ticketmaster couldn't find in the will-call, and ready for pickup. Got to the venue ten minutes before the gates open, no line at will-call, and they easily found the tickets that Ticketmaster couldn't find after thirty minutes on hold. Great show, great staff, and no lines to pee. It was absolutely everything I could have wanted out of a concert, and beat the hell out of paying three figures for live stuff at local venues like Gammage, where parking is a mess and bathrooms are as plentiful as flying pigs (which is to say, good luck finding one).
