| - Kris U took me to St. Phillips to experience an "Italian Hot Table," which in Evelyn's words sounds like a naughty experience. Rest assured, it isn't.
It's kind of like a cafeteria line, but instead of tater tots and frozen vegetables you get to choose from delicious Italian pastas, sandwiches, and meals. You could have arancini, gnocchi, salads, veal, and much, much more. You pick, they serve, you pay, that's how it goes. (By the way I picked a sandwich thing that was kind of like a Panini, stuffed with mozzarella, tomatoes, and meat. It was scrumptious.)
The inside of this bakery has a lot of other cool stuff, including delicious-looking baked goods, a coffee bar, and a smaller grocery section. And there are a medium amount of tables so you can eat in or take your stuff to go.
I can definitely see the appeal of having your Sunday meals here and if the hot table ever takes off in Denver I'll be first in line.
