  • I wish I could give a zero. This place has gone from five-star to below zero. There was a time that RVC was terrific, service and food. I stopped by two to three times per week for vegan take-out desserts. The last few weeks the selection has been poor, at best. Today, I asked for a calorie count of the desserts. The young man behind the counter was arrogant and rude. His first answer was, whatever I would use to make the desserts at home. I pressed and he began lambasting another customer who asked for a calorie count and called her all kinds of names. As I was walking out, he continued his tirade about me, sarcastically mimicking me asking for a calorie count. I have spent a couple hundred dollars a month at this place, but they have lost another customer, something they cannot afford since the place was empty during the lunch hour.
