YELP COUPON USERS BEWARE!
We read all the fine print on the coupon before purchasing the $20 for $40. When we arrived for lunch, a buffet was our only option. We presented the coupon and were told that we couldn't use it for lunch, nor could we use it for a buffet.
IT DOES NOT SAY THIS ANYWHERE ON THE COUPON.
After a bit of arguing, the waiter reluctantly said he'd accept the coupon and off we went to the buffet.
The food here is excellent. Everything we tried was of good quality and well spiced. We have eaten at many Indian restaurants, all over the world, and this is one of the better ones.
Personally, we don't love using coupons, even if we purchase them. Dunno, they just make us feel cheap. But way to make us feel even crappier about using the coupon...That we bought!
After we ate, we presented the coupon to another waiter who argued with us again and gave us an attitude when we explained the other waiter said he'd accept it.
Bottom line is: If you have restrictions on your coupons, put it in the freaking coupon fine print! We noticed after the fact that the coupon actually states: "Business owner: Deal must be honored according to terms on certificate. No additional restrictions may be added at time of redemption."
So why make the customer feel like crap?!?!
It's really too bad because the food was delicious but the attitude turned us off.
