I am trying to like this place but twice I am asked to wait 15 minutes for a table when the restaurant isn't busy and there's no one waiting in front of me. After waiting they tried to sit me in the large dining area where no one was sitting. I traveling for work and dining alone so I think they are trying to force me to eat at the bar.
My first visit was mediocre. I ordered a beer which came to me in a bottle that a runner just dropped on the table and ran away. The beer was warm inside but the bottle was cold and the label was about ready to fall off. I guessed they tried to ice down a room temperature beer. The waiter at least offered a glass for my beer.
I ordered the grilled chicken with cilantro cream. The chicken didn't have much taste since it seemed to be grilled then some bland glaze added on top. There was a bed of mash potatoes that was smothered in a green 'cilantro' sauce which I liked but I'm a sucker for any thing smothered in gravy.
So overall I would go back here but I don't expect great good. It's is reasonably price but nothing special. If you go during happy hour you can make out like a bandit with half price apps and drinks for dinner. Happy hour is 9pm to midnight.
