I just don't think this dealer gets the internet age. I received an email this morning saying there is an open recall campaign on my Chevy Volt. The email had a button to Schedule Now. I clicked it and reviewed the available appointment times, spent time juggling schedules and booked an appointment.
Latter I get an email reply saying, "I'll be happy to reserve an appointment for you; however, the necessary parts must first be ordered to complete one of the open recalls. I will place the order for you today. When those parts arrive, I will contact you to make an appointment."
They should have known a part had to be ordered before sending an email offering to make an appointment. The email should have had an option for, "Yes, please order parts and call to schedule an appt."
Now I've rearranged meetings for no reason. They waste my time, energy, and patience.
