So I am not sure where to rate this company 1 star on price and five stars on employees.
I have seen there vans driving around our area because their office is close, so we called the cooling company. They answered the phone and very polite they set a appointment for the same day and had to come out later than the appointed time which was fine being it was 116 outside. The technician came out and was was very professional and diagnosed the problem. The box that disconnects the unit had shorted out and kept tripping the breaker. when I asked how much he quoted me 495$. Now I know a business needs to make a profit and overhead and insurance and advertising and pay office staff and the building and etc. but 495$ .
I figured this was a task that I may be able to accomplish so I paid the diagnosis fee of 59$ and ran to Home Depot figuring to spent 50-60$ on a disconnect box it was 6.13$ with tax, 20 minutes later the box was installed and two days later my breaker is tripping again but not melting the disconnect. So as far as employees go I liked everyone I had to deal with, but 495$ for diagnosis and a 6$ box it makes me wonder if that is there normal prices or if there is a sliding scale to how hot it is or ????.
