  • I love this place. From the blackout blinds that make you forget whether its light or dark out, to the full-tilt tiki decor, to the boozy as hell drinks, Shameful Tiki is the perfect place to escape real life for an hour or two. Beyond that, they also have you covered for your other basic needs, i.e. greasy food for when you need to soak up the booze (think grilled cheese, spam fried rice, poké, etc) and non-sugary cocktails for when you need a sugar break (i.e. your classic vodka soda or light beer). They also have entertainment occasionally, which amps up the already entertaining experience. Most recently: Drag Queen Bingo, which I'm told is every third Wednesday. I might be biased because I won two rounds, but it was really fun and the host, Shelix, was a sassy delight. Bonus points because Shameful Tiki is on board with no straws*! Down with unnecessary plastic waste! *if you really need a straw and ask them for one they will give it to you but just ask you to re-use it for your next drink :)
