| - So this is the place from the States that is "co-branding" with Tim Hortons in some parts of Toronto. When I read about it I thought it was the most random thing to add an ice cram shop onto a Tim Hortons, but once I tasted their "cake batter" ice cream I was in love! The hardest part was choosing a flavour, and THEN you get to choose mix-ins which look like regular toppings (brownies, sprinkles, graham crackers, tiny marshmallows...) but way better because your server scoops the ice cream onto the frozen counter and kind of kneads everything together in front of you & then puts it into whatever kind of cone/cup you want. I had to have the cake batter ice cream (which my friend found sickeningly sweet, but I felt like I was 5 again), and my server suggested I get the Birthday Cake Remix which was cake batter ice cream+fudge+sprinkles+brownie. I loved the ice cream because it wasn't really hard, it was almost like actual cake batter or cookie dough. If you don't have a serious sweet-tooth you might not like it, but I would recommend at least giving it a try (plus they let you sample the flavours). The sizing was really cute too, the small was "Like It", then there was "Love It' and "Have to Have It" or something like that. Pricier than regular icecream I guess (I think my "Love It" in a waffle cone was around $6) but at the same time I liked it way better than regular ice cream. Since you can choose your own flavours & mix-ins the combinations are endless, I can't wait to go back and try something else!
