  • Booked a room on short notice, Exceeded expectations! A small cozy "Queen" room, not "upgraded" but just perfect and on the 8th floor. Sylvia at the front desk was patient as I tried to decide on which room. Quiet, no street noise, the "European" breakfast was just right and the coffee was good & hot. Oh, and it was Saturday and I found an open parking space 1/2 block away on N. Tryon. I look forward to my next stay there! I thought the price was reasonable considering the location, not moderate but not too pricey. :)
