My 2001 Buick of 5 years was on its way out. I need a reliable form of transportation that was better on gas since I now need it not only for work but also for going to school. I found a used Fusion on the website that seemed to be a reasonable price. I drove the car and really liked it, so I purchased it. Unfortunately, I somehow did not realize there was a crack in the windshield and it was not pointed out to me. That is definitely my fault, but it would have been good business on their part to point it out.
That wasn't the worst part. I initially financed the car through the finance department and they downright lied to me on a couple of things. They told me key replacement was included in the price of the car yet I was charged $79 for it. They gave me an interest right that was high and told my that my credit union would give me the same rate. I refinanced the car already through the credit union for an interest rate that was more than half of what Ford gave me.
So I like the car, but being lied to twice in once transaction is not good business for Fort Mill Ford or Sonic Automotive in general. Dealers like Fort Mill Ford are what makes Carvana popular. Hopefully dishonest car dealers will go the way of Blockbuster Video.
