| - We had been using Molly Maid for about a year and a half and had been generally satisfied, until Monday's cleaning. The house was worse off than when we had left it! There was bleach/cleaning goo on the wall by the master bathroom; hairballs all over the master bathroom, and the entire carpet was covered in vacuum powder. To make matters worse, they broke an item in our kitchen and turned the a/c down to 72 in both the main house and guest house and left it at 72 all day. The company has refused to refund the money we paid for Monday's cleaning, telling us that we can only have a re-clean, and has offered us no money for the broken item. I requested to schedule the re-clean around my work schedule, as I have to go home to take care of the pets/alarm for the reclean. They never called me with a time despite me calling them multiple days to ask what time the reclean would be. I am really disappointed with the lack of service we received. (Our cleaning only cost $102, so I am not sure why they would not have just refunded the money after all the problems they caused. If they had apologized and given a refund, I would have just continued using them, as anyone can have a bad day, and prior to this incident we had received good service) At this point, we have a dirtier house, a broken kitchen trivet, a larger a/c bill, and we paid for a cleaning we did not receive.
