| - I've been dealing with a chronic health issue for the last few years and have seen a variety of doctors. I've been searching for a primary care doctor who could help me pick the right specialist but also help me manage my overall health, and I hadn't found a practice or doctor I liked. I kept seeing ads on Facebook for One Medical, and after browsing their website, I signed up. I'm so happy I did!
I chose Dr. Bhuyan as my primary care doctor, and I'm super happy with the care I've received. I finally feel like I have a doctor who is a partner in my health. Great bedside manner and super knowledgeable. She has been super prompt with referrals and answering any emails I've sent.
I'm also very happy with the overall service offered from One Medical. It's 2016- we do everything on our phones. I'm glad a medical practice has finally made use of that fact! I can schedule appointments, email my doctor, order prescription refills, and even get a diagnosis for routine ailments like pink eye, all from their app.
The hours are also more flexible than most doctors. 8am to 6pm. You mean a medical office actually considered that people might have to, gasp, be at work 9-5?! They also have a lab on site which makes things like bloodwork even easier.
I really appreciate that both my appointments started right on time. I can't remember the last time I went to a doctor and had an appointment start within 30 minutes of my scheduled time, let alone on time. And I don't mean I was plucked out of the waiting room on time just to sit in a sterile exam room and wait for my doctor. I mean my doctor actually greeted me in the waiting room and brought me back to start my exam right on time!
And I know it shouldn't really matter, but the office is very aesthetically pleasing. Comfy modern waiting room (not that you'll be waiting long) and the exam rooms are bigger than any I've seen. I like that there's a desk in the room too so you can sit and talk with your doctor about any concerns. It feels much more personable than sitting on an exam table.
I haven't seen any doctor other than Dr. Bhuyan, but I find it hard to believe there would be a bad doctor here. If you need a primary care doc in the Phoenix area, you can't go wrong with One Medical.
