  • My wife and I have lived here for the last year. We were extremely excited to live here because 1. They were super friendly, 2. They cared about each resident, 3. We were willing to pay the 1,150$ a month because of the different programs offered like rent plus and others... then they switched from Pillar to Cortland, and WOW! How much of a change that was. 1. They got rid of all programs (which is the reason we chose this place), 2. The "gated community " is no longer gated. The front gates are open 24/7 and never close. The exit gate was destroyed about a month ago now and they still haven't even cleaned it up or fixed it?!? 3. We had a 13 month lease at 1,150$. Now to re-up they have said 1,375$ and will only do a 8 month lease! Bunch of B.S. 4. They are "ok", but no longer have the high customer service standards that the previous pillar community had. All in all, avoid at all costs. We are now moving to a house!! 1700 Sqft. For less than they are charging us.
