Princess of Wales Theater has a lot going for it - it's a grand old dame of a theater nestled in the heart of the entertainment district with plenty of bars, restaurants and parking in the immediate area. We went to a TIFF movie (Loving Pablo) and were struck by the historic grandeur, the sweeping sight lines, and the general plushness of the place, but the acoustics were very poor up in the balcony and the seats are crammed uncomfortably together on the side and in front, so there's really nowhere to move around once seated.
