| - Sunsplash review only ~ spent Labor Day there with the family and surprisingly it was not crowded at all, the major "thrill" rides were about a 10 minute wait. Small park but big enough to have your pre teens be independent without worrying about them too much. Spent the day in and out of the wave pool, lazy river, and slides. Found seats with shade to keep our stuff at and didn't have to worry about a locker. Parking was good, we got there at noon and found a spot quickly and right in front of the entrance.
Snack bar had typical nachos, hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, pork sandwiches, buritos, icees and there was a sandwich hut and a ice cream place and dipping dots. For pizza you had to get it inside Golfland and you could go in dripping wet and barefoot. Just ask for them to box it so you can carry back to the water part. They also had the biggest " thick" milkshakes I ever saw. Also ~ you can bring a cooler full of ice and sealed bottled waters (no size limit). I saw some people with huge coolers . Parking lot was close enough you can bring another cooler full of lunch and leave it in your car if you dont want to spend money at their consessions. No outside food and they are strict there, saw alot of people trying to smuggle things in only to get it taken away.
They had a little part for the littles ones too!
Overall it was a good day there ...no complaints what so ever !!
