D'lite reached out to me after my last review and invited me to come back and try them again. This time I tried the veggie frittata. It was definitely much better than the sandwich I had last time. The dish consisted of buttered toast and sliced tomatoes topped with a baked egg layered with brocolli then sprinkled with some feta and a pesto drizzle. They were much more generous with the pesto this time and everything tasted fresh. Yummy pesto! I wish the egg had a slightly lighter texture... it was a little spongey. I also think this dish could be improved in flavor and consistency with some different veggies... maybe mushrooms or red peppers. The broccoli was just kinda too much. If they're going to keep the broccoli it needs to be smaller. I just don't think large broccoli florets work that well in a small breakfast dish.
They also mentioned the tables in their message to me. They said they are ordering new ones, but as of today the old tables are still there. There's also some confusion about the name. Some signs say d'lish and some say d'lite. Overall, this place has potential, and I will try it again. It just needs some tlc ie: fresh coat of paint, correct signage and menu tweaks. I received great service again so they have that part down.
