| - I love the Ogden and here's why:
1. The concierge staff is top notch. They're a friendly bunch of people who always make you feel welcomed.
2. Location, location, location. Right in the heart of downtown Las Vegas and close to restaurants (There is a bar/restaurant right downstairs called Itsy Bitsy), grocery store, dog park, gambling, etc. I personally love all the action going on right in the area, but if you want a quiet place then this not necessarily be your best bet. I mean, come on, it's downtown Las Vega, and if you're moving down here I'm assuming you don't mind having a lot going on all the time in the area.
3. The outdoor spaces. There's a pool and nice outdoor sitting area on the roof, 25 floors up, that give you amazing views and a chance to catch some sun. The pool isn't very big, but with the view it's definitely worthwhile.
4. The conference/study/community room. There are rarely any people in there, but I don't know why. It's a great space on the 16th floor looking out towards the strip and I'v personally used it for getting work done, but it also has a kitchen area that would be great for entertaining larger groups of people. It has a couple couches and a table and bathrooms in the large space.
5. The gym. As far as apartment/condo gyms go it's solid. 2 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, exercise bikes, dumbbells up to 50lbs, pull up bar with adjustable cable unit, lat pulldown machine, 2 benches (No barbells, but they are adjustable benches that can do an incline), leg press machine, pec fly, rear delt, leg extension, leg curl - lots of options.
6. It's AWESOME. Really just everything about living in the Ogden is great and I'd highly suggest it for someone who is looking for a high rise building to live in in Las Vegas. They have condos going from 200k-600k, but also have leases available starting at $1,600 or so.
