| - Worst customer service. I haven't been, but i was supposed to get a package delivered yesterday, and the delivery man left me a note (didn't knock, didn't try to contact me at all) saying "package too large, pick up at post office" well no, that's why i paid for delivery. I CANT PICK IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I call the USPS 800 number, and they say "that is within our means, we will have them re-deliver immediately, you should have it by 5 pm today and the supervisor will call you after it has been delivered" waited all day...nothing, at 4 pm, i kept calling the PO and the line was busy, i tried about 15 times from 4 pm until 5 pm. Busy signal.
Finally, called today, they answered spoke to the RUDE supervisor, Stuart, and he basically told me in a VERY rude manner, that I have to pick it up. I told him I understand but i dont have a truck, do any of the other PO have trucks? maybe they can deliver, and he goes "YOU DONT LIVE THERE!!!! NO THEY CANNOT DELIVER!!!" I said "Oh but maybe because you're the same company you can ask..." he cuts me off and goes "DID YOU HEAR ME? YOU DONT LIVE THERE, STOP ARGUING WITH ME" i said "I'm not arguing with you, actually I'm speaking as nicely as possible, but you're not trying to help me" and he goes 'IF YOU ORDER A LARGE PACKAGE, EXPECT TO PICK IT UP" and then he hangs up on me.
What a jerk. How is this acceptable? He needs to find a non-customer-facing job. Maybe he can sort mail or something instead.
