| - So it's taken me a long time to write this review because I wasn't sure if I was lit or if The Old Fashioned really was that good. Problem is, I'm only lit while in WI so I'm going to have to just go with "it's really that awesome" and you're going to have to fact check whilst sober for me, ok?
Anyway, we ended up at The Old Fashioned for dinner because I decided I needed to have a steak for dinner but I wasn't about to go get all fancy to do so. Enter The Old Fashioned. It's got my steak, but it's served with fries and toast to keep it real. And let's talk about that toast for a hot minute here.
That was the best toast I have ever had in my entire life. I bet you thought to yourself, "Toast is toast. It's all the same." WRONG. I literally, and I mean LITERALLY, talked about the toast the entire rest of dinner. I had a text conversation about toast with my sister. I imitated Nacho Libre over and over and over. I was just really impressed with the toast. I kid you not. The steak, fries, drink list, service, and everything else you can imagine were good too. I promise. That toast, though? I don't know, man. I think I'd drive back to Madison just for that.
I'll be meeting you again in your quarters for some toast, Old Fashioned. And if it doesn't come with my meal, I WILL be asking for it. Hope that's cool.
