I went with a group of girls to their tapas class. This was a demonstration class and so much fun. They also had sangria for you to drink during the whole demonstration. Each course was better than the next and I can't wait to redo some of the recipes.
The instructor was very entertaining and informative. Sometimes instructors can seem a little condescending or act like they just don't want to be there. This was definitely not the case :-).
It was really neat to see how they would plate each food item as well. There were many ideas I would've never thought of by myself. The orange granita was really cool!
My only complaint would be that I would like to have the recipes during the class. There are many times that I would've like to make notes to myself. They do email you the recipes after the class but by then you kind of forget a lot of the things from the class the instructor told you. Especially after a couple glasses of Sangria. Lol!
Definitely go hungry and ready to have fun. I'm not sure I would have felt comfortable going by myself. There were lots of downtime where you would just sit there and unless you're a very outgoing person you would have nobody to talk to you or anything to do...
A nice touch was they had place cards with your name on them and menus set up with what you would cook that class. Great idea!
