Price was higher for Christmas season, around $37 for adults and children over 4 years old, which I didn't like. Juice or soft drinks are included but Champagne will cost another $12/person. Food was fine except the king crab legs were still frozen so they thawed all over the plate and table, making a mess of everything. You could squeeze 1/8 cup of water from each leg and it dripped all over the cocktail sauce and food. Now the shrimps on the other hand were delicious as was the raw salmon with capers and red onion as sides to put on a bagel. In fact most people probably didn't notice the small pieces of smoked trout and yellowfin tuna by the salmon but they were excellent.
There were lots of selections including prime rib for breakfast if you prefer meat. The rice congee was bland but nice if you have a hangover. The dim sum looked stale. The cheese was alright but only a couple selections offered. There was Asian food and the thin egg noodle chow mien was good. I enjoyed the mixed fruit salad with or without a light cream sauce. There were lots of breads and some crackers. I tried nearly every one of the 7 or 8 small desert bites. A couple were delicious like the mini Pecan Pie or the cheesecake. The Tiramisu cake wasn't worth the two bites offered. I really like the small portion idea since I hate to waste food.
I wish I could compare this buffet with others but it took us over 24 hours to recover from the expensive bill, the rich food and overeating lots of foods that don't necessarily compliment each other. We didn't eat another buffet the entire stay and couldn't be too far from a bathroom for a day or so after eating here. If I had it to do over again I think I'd eat at Cesar's or the Aria buffet but this one was fine with lots of choices for everyone and our waitress was very polite and offered us several refills of juice. There was no line when we went at around 9am in the morning.
