I have attended over 12 classes since the end of May and it's been an amazing experience. My core is weak and I have been rehabilitating my herniated discs, Coreology has helped jumpstart both objectives.
The first session was beyond humbling and I was unsure if I was going to get the hang of this megaformer. Depth perception because I'm so tall definetly messed with my head but with great instruction and assists I got the hang of it.
Megaformer pilates like classes can also be intimidating because I looked around and saw very slim, hardcore pilate figured women but this stereotype soon changed. Eventhough I knew my 5'10 210lbs body would struggle I was relieved to see this is similair to yoga practice where everyone is practicing, no one is perfection. We all would tap out at certain points and when they say "embrace the shake" we are all stretching our muscles to the limits.
Another good thing, some instructors are exceptional with driving inclusion by having us introduce ourselves to a neighbor and instructors shout out your name during the session to give props. The assist are great too.
No workout is the same. Body always feels amazing afterwards and my entire body gets a workout!!!!! I took advantage of a new member unlimited package then will buy smaller packages later. Only downside, after the unlimited package its pretty expensive even if its single to group packages.
Bummed I relocate in a couple weeks so I will not be able to continue on but I highly recommend people try this.
