| - DISGUSTING AIRLINE. STEALS YOUR $$$ AFTER THEY BUMP YOU FROM YOUR FLIGHT BECAUSE THEY OVERSOLD IT & STILL DONT GIVE YOU A REFUND OR COMPENSATION. COMPLETELY LACKS BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!
Checked in about 10:20p
Boarded in zone 1 about 11:50p
Because my DIRECT flight was delayed
Once the flight was full & all seats were taken, I was asked to get off of the plane because we were the last to check in.
I refused to get off & then I was told that if I didn't comply, they would call security to escort me off.
My children started crying & getting scared.
I complied.
When I got off of the plane, I then waited for another 1.5 hrs with my 4 & 7 yr old. It's 2am, 2 hrs later than my flight was supposed to depart.
I was rebooked on a non direct flight 16 hrs later, with a 5 hr layover, arriving 22 hrs later than my original scheduled time.
I was then told, I'd be given a $4100 check when I boarded the new flight. And before I left, I asked for something in writing stating what had occurred, it wasn't until then that I was given a "denied boarding disclosure."
I was not given any compensation at the time of the occurrence. As is what frontier states in its policy that they would do in such occurrence.
The only summer vacation for my children was planned months in advance, I lost $1268 of 1 hotel night & $65 in a cab ride- and most importantly my children's summer vacation ruined. We were meeting their father & siblings there at the airport.
I have now booked another flight on delta & requested my "involuntary denied boarding compensation" & a refund of my flights & baggage fees. The next day, still nothing was given or resolved.
I arrived to the frontier desk to speak to a supervisor on August 6 at 11:17a & spoke to
sarahleigh toki "Sarah"
Employee Wendy Chavez witnessed Angelica the supervisor that denied our seats & required me to get out of my seats, after we'd already boarded & my children were esleep. Angelica the supervisor, promised me a $4100 involuntary denied boarding compensation.
At 1:16p on August 6th the next day, I was still waiting meanwhile I was attempted to be given a $796 check & be on my way. I refused.
Today is August 9 & frontier as still not refunded my flight of which I requested, nor compensated me my "denied boarding compensation" that they state in their policy. I've now paid for 2 round trip flight for 4 people- & frontier has not even refunded my flights.
