My friend and I had a great time....the reason I'm giving one star is because we arrived on time for our 8:00 a.m. reservation and the girl there was getting her SUP yoga group signed in and told us we needed to wait for Jared (sp?) the owner to check us in and that she was waiting for him as well.
A couple of guys walked through and we asked if they were Jared and one says no I'm Clint his twin brother and he went on his merry way. Jared didn't show up until 8:20 am, no apologies no "welcome, how can I help?" His tone the entire time during our check in was of someone who did not care about customer service.
My friend drove all the way from east Mesa which means it took an hour and a half to get up to Lake Pleasant and this guy couldn't have the consideration to show up on time for his customers who had already made a reservation online.
Really poor customer service on his part wouldn't go back to rent from him again. On the upside one of the employees who helped us get the kayaks together was really awesome, happy to be there great customer service.
No competition does not mean you do not care about your customers Jared. If you're not going to be on time phone someone else and have them make sure that your 8 o'clock customers are being checked in.
Aside from his cavalier attitude, we had a beautiful time on the water.
