I first watched the Jabbawockeez live back when they were at the Monte Carlo. That was a great show, fit for Vegas. By comparison, Jreamz at MGM was a bit blah and felt close to a high school production. The stage looked much smaller in comparison to the Monte Carlo, so their moves seemed more compacted and it didn't allow them to do as many tricks as I remember they did at the older show. The screen images also seemed grainy and cheap, which might have been the look they were going for, but it just didn't match with the Vegas vibe. It didn't help that the particular night my husband and I watched the show was filled with a large group of high school / pre-teen kids which just further made the show feel like the Kids Choice Awards. The theater at the MGM is definitely more intimate (think lounge style) however the tickets are pricier that their previous shows. I didn't mind that it was small but as other have mentioned, this is not stadium seating so if you're short (like me) you may have a hard time seeing the action. I sat 3 rows back from the stage and had to position myself just right to see around the person in front of me. On top of that, during the audience interaction I couldn't see when a Jabbawockee was to the far front or far left / right so I had to practically stand up in order to see what was going on. There was also a bit of an awkward moment during the audience interaction, when they were searching for a 3rd participant. The whole skit just seemed to drag on a bit too long and started getting dull and detracted from the show.
The performances were still entertaining and I liked how they played to both the old and young crowd, playing both older and more recent tracks. I think they're still a fun group to watch perform but if you've seen their previous shows, don't go in expecting the same caliber or show with Jreamz.
