  • I was ready to check out and I showed my veterans discount information, and the woman said "Oh we don't honor that - only on special days". That's interesting - the Lowe's that is closer to our house honors the veterans discount every day. I should have said to her "That's funny, I fought for my country every day when I was in the service - not just on SPECIAL days!"
